No-Charge Custom options:
-Draw Angle:
Draw angle is the angle of the barrel in relation to the belt. There are three options are 7-10 Degree (most common), 15 degree (FBI), and Straight Drop. I can do greater than 15 degree or negative cant by special request.
-Sweat Shield Height:
Low cut: Small amount of material above belt line to aid re-holstering. Guarantees full thumb contact for manipulation of external safety at draw.
Standard: Cut just below the top of the slide with no material next to rear sights. Slide will not contact your skin. Thumb area is relieved to allow contact at draw.
High: Above end of slide and extra material between body and rear sight. This option is best for guns with aftermarket or sharp sights that can dig into skin when the holster is worn. Thumb area is relieved to allow contact at draw. MUST WRITE INTO CUSTOM OPTIONS TEXT BOX to get high sweat shield.
(Remember, you can always cut down a high sweat shield later if you decide you want it lower)
-Kydex Color Solid or or Two Tone Solid Color (see Colors page)
-Rivet Color (see Colors page)
-Belt Loop Size. 1.25, 1.5, and 1.75 inch. 2 inch by special request.
-Aggressive Cuts -Leading Edge and Rear Cut:
Holster is cut at front corner with one less eyelet/rivet at the bottom. ALEC lessens contact at the leg when running or sitting, but limits cant adjustment to rear belt loop. Must be written in the custom options box when ordering. Holster can also be cut at rear corner for an Aggressive Rear Cut. Full size pistols with longer barrels ( ex. Glock 17) will typically have an angled cut and ALEC and ARC may not be necessary.
-Belt Loop Type Substitution:
You may substitute Minimalist style belt loops for Standard Belt Loops. Some customers prefer the lower ride height and lower center of gravity of the Minimalist belt loops. Select your preferred loop style on the order page drop down when configuring your holster.Additional charge custom Upgrades:
-Trijicon RMR on slide with raised sights. Add this option to cart and send me a picture of your pistol against a measuring take to assure the kydex can is molded properly. Please included enough detail on model number sight types and location on slide so dimensions are correct. $5
-Extended/Threaded Barrel $1 Add this option to cart and send a picture of your pistol against a measuring tape to assure the kydex can is molded properly. Please included enough detail on the barrel and thread protector so we can make sure dimensions are correct.
-Thumb Break $40.00 (add to cart)
1911 Thumb Breaks will be installed in the cocked and locked position unless otherwise noted. The Thumb Break 2.0 is NOT compatible with the Beretta Storm. Please contact us if you have any questions.
